The True Teaching founded on the
principles of generousity relies mostly on the goodwill of its members and the
kind contributions of philanthropists. When the Church purchased its own
building and renovation of the city caused the building to be pulled down,
leaving us with huge debts to be paid, some of the our philanthropists wrote off
some of what we owe them. All the same, the working members and leaders began
contributing towards balancing our books. We are therefore appealing to you to
help us the best you can by slotting in your widows mite and we (already being)
a praying Church shall commit all your resources into the capable hands of the
Lord for His blessing power in your possession increase. The belief is; since
your heart is full of His generous deeds when things get better for you, you
will equally help us for us also to continue helping the poor and the needy
materially as we are doing now.
